My Dashboard Doesn't Match My Loyalty Account

Last updated September 8, 2026

Gondola updates your balances based on your travel confirmation emails, so if you've earned points since your last confirmation, your dashboard might take a little time to refresh.

You can update this manually — click "Add additional programs" on your Points page, or click into your loyalty accounts and edit the details.

Why does one balance cover several of my cards?

Some card programs pool a single rewards balance across every card on the account. American Express Membership Rewards works this way: if you hold both a Gold and a Platinum card, they share one points balance rather than earning separate pools. Gondola counts that shared balance once, so your dashboard total matches what Amex shows you, not the balance multiplied by the number of cards you hold.

Why are some of my cards listed under "Co-branded cards"?

A co-branded card earns points in the partner's program, not the bank's. A Chase Marriott Bonvoy card earns Marriott points, and a Chase United card earns United miles, so those balances are not Ultimate Rewards and are not counted in your Chase total.

When you open a card issuer on your dashboard, the issuer's own cards appear first and any co-branded cards appear in a separate "Co-branded cards" section below them. The partner points still count toward your overall portfolio under the airline or hotel program they belong to. Cash-back cards stay with the issuer, since that is the bank's own money.
