The member rates you would see signed in on the hotel's own site, including AAA and package rates, next to what the same stay costs in points. Most travel sites only quote the public price everyone gets.

Can my assistant actually book the room?

It gets you one click from done. Your assistant searches, compares, and hands back a ready checkout for the exact rate it picked, and you confirm it. The booking goes straight to the hotel, so your points, status nights, and card rewards count just as they would if you booked there yourself.

It searches them and shows you where each fare came from. Booking flights through Gondola is not live yet, so you finish those with the airline. Hotels and rental cars go all the way through checkout.
